Subject: Sim Outer Mer’s flight data
————————————————————————————————————————————————————–

Maman,

I withdrew the money you deposited on my student bank account yesterday and booked my flight back home. If everything runs according the plans, I’ll be back in Sunset Valley next Wednesday. I have three albums of pictures sorted by date and topic ready to share. I’m also working on a new collage at my moleskine: it is made of all the receipts I collected the last three years arranged symmetrically and by color. I guess you guys will have fun with my little travel notebook.

I’m traveling with Sim Outer Mer and my flight number is 815. It is scheduled to leave Champ Le Sims at 3:30pm on May 29th and arrive at 5:35pm in Sunset Valley Airport. But I wouldn’t bet on it. Since that unexpected volcanic eruption up north, many flights have been delayed and consequently the traffic plans for Orly Airport are still jammed. I’m counting with at least an hour delay. Let’s hope I’m not very far from the truth! I won’t like to be stuck and waiting for more than a couple hours. However, to be on the safe side, I’m packing an extra box of chocolates and my sleeping sack on my hand luggage.

Cicero visits France

Maman, I’m sure I haven’t apologized for saying all that mean things to you when you sent me to study abroad. Even if I don’t like admitting it, you were right to do so. Attending the La Gallerie D’Art École was an amazing experience. The place is breathtaking! Did you know the school stands where once was the battlefield for the Bataille de Paris? At least as Camille Bonaparte told me. It seems one can still find relics from 1814 buried all over the school’s garden.

Well, since I liked it here, you got yourself in big trouble, Madame Paon: you can count on your yearly budget expenses on tickets to Champs Le Sims. At least while I don’t get a job. I miss home and I’m happily coming back, but I’m sure planning to visit Champ Le Sims periodically. I can’t imagine staying long away from the friends I made, spending time with them at the Catania Cafe or at the Nectary…

Send my best to Aunt Clara and the rest of the family.

À bientôt, maman.
Cicero.

Ah, welcome back! Lovely chapter. Seems like Cicero is really, REALLY, liking France! 🙂

Hehehe! I don’t know if it was him or me who was happy having time to play again! Cicero was my first adventure to France – and the Nectary is amazing! We loved it. *g

Oooh an update! So thrilled, I’ve missed the Paons terribly!

Love the volcanic eruptions reference, although I do hope his flight was only delayed by an hour! A colleague of mine recently had her flight’s path diverted due to the ashes, adding 6 hours to the flight (plus delays).

      You’re so kind, tipix!

A friend of mine had his canceled. But, in a situation like this, I guess this is the best possible outcome. Having 6 hours added to a flight is definitely a bad experience. I hope your colleague (finally) managed to arrive at her destination and rest! 🙂
