SUMMARY: Sam Sekemoto passes away. Renzo Paon also looses his fiancée, the handy-woman Florette Tolliver.
Aiming to show the rebuilt of the Paon estate and celebrate Renzo’s engagement to Florette Tolliver, I, squad leader Antonia Paon, had a New Year’s Eve party planned. But unexpected events forced me to cancel it: on 30th December, 5 p.m, I received a call from Sacred Spleen Memorial Hospital informing about my half-brother Sam Sekemoto’s death (Evidence A: Sam’s memorial at The Daily Sim). A former band’s colleague dropped by his house for a visit and found him unresponsive on his living room sofa. It seems he had a peaceful passing away while sleeping.
I broke the news to my oldest brother Renzo Paon and headed to the hospital to run the papers for Sam’s burial. Meanwhile, Renzo called his fiancée, the handy-woman Florette Tolliver, to help him with the needed calls to cancel the New Year’s Eve party. By the time I got back home, I got a huge shock: Florette had also passed away.
In our front porch. Out of the blue, her chest started aching and she had difficulties breathing. Renzo called the emergency service, but the paramedics didn’t make it to the estate in time. Florette had a sudden death due a pulmonary embolism. The tragic scene was recorded by our newly installed security cameras (Evidence B: Security footage.)
Clara Paon, who had been complaining about her marriage with Wilson Keaton, arrived from her trip to Al Simhara in the middle of the medical confusion. Witnessing such a tragedy, however, might have done the couple good. Later that night, they were seen exchanging love words and “forever together” promises, rather than the harsh words and looks from weeks before.
